Toledo, Ohio, Resident James Aubry - A Passionate Photographer

About Toledo, Ohio, Resident James Aubry

A resident of Waterville, Ohio for more than two decades, James Aubry enjoys an array of recreational activities outside of his professional obligations. An amateur bird watcher, James Aubry keeps feeders on his property and enjoys identifying the many species of birds that visit. As well, he enjoys attending the annual Great Migration of the warbler at MaGee Marsh along Lake Erie. While at home in Ohio, Jim Aubry also takes pleasure in completing projects in the yard, working out, and taking day trips to various destinations. On more extended journeys, he has visited such interesting locales as Bermuda, Portugal, the Bahamas, Quebec, Nantucket, Martha's Vinyard, and Mexico.

Often, Jim Aubry uses his travels as an opportunity to engage with his photography. On a regular basis, he enjoys visiting Ann Arbor and Detroit, Michigan, as well as Cleveland and Columbus, OH, where he photographs the urban landscape and people, otherwise known as street photography. In addition to more traditional styles, he is becoming increasingly familiar with the "hip shot" technique. Jim Aubry has been a photography enthusiast since his early teens, and has enjoyed using Canon equipment. He currently favors the Canon EOS 60D SLR camera.

James Aubry has three sons, each of whom is pursuing higher education in Ohio. He is a graduate of the University of Toledo with a business degree in International Business & Transportation.
